Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Rural Hospital | Night Shift | Contract
We are seeking a highly experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 12-week contract assignment in a rural emergency department . This role is ideal for an independent, confident ER nurse who thrives in low-volume, high-responsibility settings and is comfortable working night shifts with a unique rotation schedule.

Rural Emergency Department with 9 ER beds
Serves a wide range of emergency and urgent care needs
Key Responsibilities:
Perform rapid assessment, triage, and emergency interventions for patients of all ages
Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in accordance with established protocols
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered
Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
Accurately document patient care using the electronic EMR system
Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary staff to ensure safe patient outcomes
Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-centered emergency department environment
Required Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 5 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
Strong ability to work independently in a rural or critical access setting
Proficiency with electronic emergency department documentation systems
Certifications Required:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

EMR systems used may include CPSI/Evident or similar platforms
