About the Job:

Objective s : Specialty Rx’s sole purpose is to provide quality service. The following job description is only the primary means by which this will be accomplished. 

Position Summary: Under general supervision of the floor manager, and in accordance with local, state, federal and company laws and regulations assist the Pharmacists and Supervisors with day-to-day activities in the pharmacy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide training to new technicians throughout departments on floor.
• Constant follow up on new hire technicians with SpecialtyRx and reevaluation of present staff through all shifts.
• Be able to work well with people of various backgrounds and education levels and establish cooperative working relationships with all coworkers.
• Timely and effectively communicate information to and consult with others in order to complete work assignments.
• Act in a responsible, trustworthy, and ethical manner.
• Communicate ideas, thoughts, and facts verbally plus in writing using proper grammar. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MUST BE a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of OH.
• Previous experience in pharmacy or other related fields.
• LTC pharmacy experience a plus.
• Brand Name / Generic Medication Knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience resolving issues that do not have clear answers.
• Highly motivated and possessed excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills.
• High sense of urgency and accountability.
• Adaptable, friendly, and ability to work with a team.
• Excellent attendance.

SHIFT: 

• 1st (9am-5:30pm)
• Must be flexible to work all shifts including weekends.
