Position Overview
The Accounting Associate will provide broad support to the accounting team, assisting with foundational accounting tasks and administrative duties. This part-time role offers valuable exposure to accounting operations and evolving systems and workflow improvements. It is an excellent entry point into a dynamic, high-performing winery environment.

Key Responsibilities
•  Maintain vendor master data and assist with vendor onboarding
•  Support AP workflow and continuous automation improvements
•  Audit submissions, track expenses against budgets, and ensure accuracy and alignment with purchase orders
•  Communicate with vendors and customers (external and internal) regarding billing, payment inquiries, and general questions
•  Assist with basic reconciliations and reporting
•  Provide customer billing and payment follow-up support as needed
•  Maintain organized digital records, schedules and documentation
•  Collaborate on workflow improvements and system enhancements
•  Participate in testing and documenting new tools

Qualifications
•  Foundational understanding of Accounting, Finance, or a related field, supported by academic or professional experience
•  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•  Effective written and verbal communication skills
•  Proactive problem-solver, with curiosity to learn and improve processes
•  Ability to work independently in a remote environment
•  Familiarity with Microsoft Office and standard accounting software is preferred
