Office/Cashier/Scale Operator - Market Street Recycling - Houston, Texas
A metal recycling company has an immediate opening for an individual who can work in an office environment.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Handling cash or checks
- Operating computerized scale to weigh in/out customers and trucks
- Operating an electronic POS system
- Answering phones
- Reconciling cash drawer-
- Preparing daily/weekly/monthly/annual reports
- Other clerical/office/warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements and Experience:
- Scrap Metal/Recycling Yard experience a plus
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, i.e. Excel, Word
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Reliable transportation
- Availability to work OT as required
We offer a good starting pay rate, normal hours Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., group health and life benefits, a 401K plan, vacation, holiday and sick pay.
