Position: Data Warehouse Analyst
Location: Hybrid - Tallahassee, FL
Duration: 6 Months
Key Responsibilities:
- Prototype, build, and test ETL/ELT jobs using Informatica IDMC and other Informatica solutions.
- Analyze transactional data stores and develop optimized data warehouse models for reporting and analytics.
- Create and maintain technical designs, diagrams, documentation, and metadata for data integration and data warehouse solutions.
- Convert legacy mainframe code (JCL, COOLGEN, COBOL, FOCUS, WebFOCUS) to modern IDMC data integration workflows.
- Conduct data modeling and performance optimization for cloud data warehousing (Snowflake, other platforms).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, validate data outputs, and ensure integrated data meets decision-making needs.
- Support both real-time and batch data flows and implement modular pipeline designs.
- Ensure quality assurance through structured testing, clear documentation, and adherence to best practices.
- Coach and mentor peers in data warehousing concepts and tool usage.
- Assist in developing and maintaining documentation for methods and practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 7 years of IT experience with data management, BI tools, and data warehousing.
- At least 4 years' direct experience with Informatica IDMC and on-prem solutions.
- Proficiency in data warehouse/data mart concepts and transactional data modeling.
- Experience with Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle.
- Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Data Quality, and Data Catalog.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and legacy code conversion (JCL, COBOL, etc.).
