Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team. As a Behavior Technician you will support students with special needs through structured behavioral interventions based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors degree in Psychology Education or related field preferred)
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred)
- Basic understanding of ABA principles (training provided if needed)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to follow behavior plans under BCBA supervision
- Patience reliability and a passion for helping others
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
Responsibilities - Work directly with students to implement ABA-based behavioral strategies
- Follow individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by a BCBA
- Accurately collect and record behavioral data
- Support students in developing communication social and life skills
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and staff
- Ensure safety and well-being of all students under your care
